Let's Do It Again!

Yesterday, 308 players came out to play the World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event at Caesers Palace in Las Vegas. Only 58 players advanced through to Day 2, but each of the eliminated competitors will have an opportunity to re-enter today's field and take another shot at winning a ring.

Joe Tehan, David Williams, Steve Gross, Eric Baldwin, Russell Rosenblum, Ted Lawson, Justin Young, Sam Barnhart, David "Bakes" Baker and Tom Marchese were just some of the well-known names that came out yesterday and did not advance. We are expecting today's field to be equally impressive in both size and skill.

However, we already know that it won't be easy for those that do advance. Waiting for today's Day 2 qualifiers are William Reynolds, Dan O'Brien, James Carroll, Chip Jett, Sean Getzwiller, Gavin Griffin, and others, all of whom will not need to exercise the use of that second bullet. Joe Kuether is the man everyone is chasing, having bagged up 380,500 in chips.

The plan today is to play 15 levels before we combine fields tomorrow and eventually crown a champion on Monday. Action is set to kick off in about an hour at noon local time so don't go anywhere.
