Three limpers entered the pot and then Kurt Jewell raised 550 more from the big blind. Lee Cee and Huy Nguyen called to see the flop fall . Jewell bet out 1,050, Cee called and the others got out of the way. The turn brought the and Jewell check-called 3,000. The river was the , Jewell checked and Cee moved all in.
Jewell leaned back in his chair and thought for a few moments. After a short time Cee called for a clock on Jewell and the dealer was reluctant to call the floor. Cee insisted and the floor was called. A floorman came to the table and the dealer said the clock was called, but not after a reasonable amount of time.
The floorman trusted his dealer and said to call him back if Jewell took longer than a reasonable amount of time. Jewell sat motionless for a few more moments and then pushed his cards to the dealer.
The following players have recently been eliminated from the tournament, which includes Chip Ervin, who had won the opening event here at WSOP Circuit Harrah's Tunica.

Robert Seaton open shipped his stack of 3,200 and received a call by Jennifer Parrish, who was shocked to see both the button and small blind call behind. All three active players proceeded to check down each street as the board ran out , prompting Parrish to turn over . The button announced a pair before rolling over , which inspired both the small blind and Seaton to muck.
Even though she lost that pot, Parrish is still sitting pretty with 25,500, while Seaton made his way to the exit.

Whoever captures that title, along with the eventual winner of the Main Event, will automatically qualify for the Second Annual $1 Million National Championship. An under-the-gun player limped and inspired the hijack and button to do the same. Matthew Chang then decided to exercise his option from the big blind with a raise to 600, which all three limpers called. When the flop came down , action checked to the player on the button and he fired out 1,200.
