The field has completed another three levels and they are on another ten minute break. They will return to play three more levels before bagging and tagging for Day 2.
We're not sure of the details, but Bob Talbot has been eliminated from the WSOP Circuit Harrah's Tunica Main Event.

If you spend anytime on the poker circuit you're bound to have an Eric Crain story. Crain always has a smile, is quick-witted and loves to give action. A few minutes before we started our Orbit with him a player at the table stopped to tell us that Crain doubled him up. Crain quickly replied, "Welcome to the biggest club in poker."
Hand 1 - On the button Crain called 675 and went to the flop with two other players. The board rolled out , both players checked to Crain and he bet 1,275. The small blind raised to 3,000, the other opponent folded and Crain made it 7,450. The small blind took a moment, then shoved and Crain folded after some thought.
Hand 2 - Crain folded preflop and scrolled through his Twitter feed.
Hand 3 - Crain folded preflop and scrolled through his Facebook feed. He then opened up Words with Friends and set his phone down to play the next hand.
Hand 4 - Crain went to a flop with one other player and they checked to the turn. The board showed , his opponent bet 700, Crain raised to 1,700 and his opponent re-raised to 5,700. Crain thought for a moment and said, "That's it, I have two overs with a draw," as he folded.
Hand 5 - Crain called 500 preflop and saw the flop come . His opponent checked, Crain bet 800 and his opponent folded.
Hand 6 - Crain folded preflop and went back to his WWF game. He played "UNION" on a triple word tile and then went to another running game. He played "CREED" as the second move in that game and went back to Twitter. He found no satisfaction there and went to Pokernews.com to catch up on the action around him. He read the story concerning Drew Mcilvain's disqualification from the tournament.
Hand 7 - From under the gun Crain opened for 525 and found three callers before the big blind acted. The big blind raised to 2,600 and Crain responded by bumping it up to 7,275. The other players couldn't fold fast enough and the big blind moved all in. Crain insta-called and tabled pocket kings. His opponent held and couldn't find any help. Crain doubled up around 25,000.
Hand 8 - Crain folded his big blind when another opponent opened for a raise. His opponent was mad that everyone folded, especially Crain, and showed aces. "Sometimes you just have to tighten up," Crain said.
Hand 9 - From the small blind he folded preflop and left his phone on the rail.
We said Dantonio Brown was off to a great start, and we weren't kidding. In a recent hand on a flop of , Brown and an opponent on the button got all the money in and created a monster pot of around 90,000.

Brown had the granddaddy of all hands, pocket rockets, but the button had flush outs. Unfortunately for the latter, Brown is running hot and he dodged both the turn and river, which came the and respectively. The button made a hasty exit while Brown chipped up to 170K!

We happened upon a familiar face tucked underneath a baseball cap here at the WSOP Circuit Harrah's Tunica Main Event in Chris Bigler, who many may recall as one of the original stars of the World Poker Tour and Professional Poker Tour from 2002-2005.
Bigler has laid low in recent year, but he is in action today and off to a decent start having already built his stack up to nearly 60,000.

Dantonio Brown is off to an amazing start. In just five levels, he has run his stack up to 100,000. Keep in mind that Ray Weaver finished Day 1a as the chip leader with just 135,000.

We recently spotted Jeff Overton in today's field. You may recall Overton as the man who took down Event #1 $345 NLHE in Bossier City, the first stop of the 2011/2012 WSOP Circuit. Overton, who hails from HAmilton, Alabama, conquered a field of 418 players to capture a $26,460 first-place prize.
