Allison Brauer limped in early position only to have Aaron Massey raise to 5,700 from the cutoff. The button and blinds all got out of the way while Brauer made the call. When the flop fell , Brauer checked, Massey fired out 8,500, and Brauer folded.
"I've got this," Massey said as he rolled over . "Got to protect it."
Registration has closed and the prizepool has been calculated. A total of 647 players registered and created a prizepool of $941,385. The top 72 players will be paid, with a min cash worth $2,636. Just making the final table will guarantee a five-figure payday, with 9th place paying $18,056. The first place prize will take home a gold WSOPC ring, an automatic entry to the National Championship and a healthy $192,984.
With about 15,000 in the pot and a board reading , "Cowboy" John Land bet 5,000 from the big blind, leaving himself 32,000 behind. Action was then on Gil George on the button and he proceeded to move all in. Land thought long and hard before making the call and turning over for trips. Unfortunately for him, George revealed for a runner-runner straight and Land's day came to an end.
With several events yet to be determined, the race for the WSOP Harrah’s Tunica Casino Champion is undecided. Whoever captures that title, along with the eventual winner of the Main Event, will automatically qualify for the Second Annual $1 Million National Championship. That event is limited to 100 players, and so far only a handful of players have qualified:

We found Jacob Bazeley and Johnny Sanders heads at the flop with the board showing . Sanders moved all in from the small blind and Bazeley thought for a minute on the button. After a deep breath Bazeley said, "I gotta draw," and called.
