"Got to Protect It"

Allison Brauer limped in early position only to have Aaron Massey raise to 5,700 from the cutoff. The button and blinds all got out of the way while Brauer made the call. When the flop fell {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, Brauer checked, Massey fired out 8,500, and Brauer folded.

"I've got this," Massey said as he rolled over {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}. "Got to protect it."

Cowboy Rides Off Into the Sunset

With about 15,000 in the pot and a board reading {4-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}, "Cowboy" John Land bet 5,000 from the big blind, leaving himself 32,000 behind. Action was then on Gil George on the button and he proceeded to move all in. Land thought long and hard before making the call and turning over {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for trips. Unfortunately for him, George revealed {Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for a runner-runner straight and Land's day came to an end.

From a Flip to Quads

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

A short stacked Dale Robinson moved all in preflop and Eddie Owens called behind him. The blinds released and they were off to the showdown.

Robinson: {4-Spades} {4-Clubs}
Owens: {K-Clubs} {Q-Spades}

The board ran {5-Clubs} {6-Spades} {A-Spades} {4-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} and Robinson's quad fours earned him a much needed double up.

Bazeley Crosses the Century Mark

Jacob Bazeley made a tough call.
Jacob Bazeley made a tough call.

We found Jacob Bazeley and Johnny Sanders heads at the flop with the board showing {2-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {6-Diamonds}. Sanders moved all in from the small blind and Bazeley thought for a minute on the button. After a deep breath Bazeley said, "I gotta draw," and called.

Bazeley: {J-Diamonds} {6-Clubs}
Sanders: {A-Clubs} {2-Clubs}

The board completed {10-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} and Bazeley eliminated Sanders and crossed the six-figure mark.
