Slow Going
We've been back in action for 30 minutes now and only two players have been eliminated. The field has tightened up considerably with the money bubble looming. Most hands have been won with an uncontested raise preflop.

We heard some commotion over at Dantonio Brown's table followed by an upset player making a hasty exit from the tournament floor. By the time we arrived, the dealer had already, mucked the cards, but another player informed us that the eliminated player had held while Brown had .
We're not sure when the money went it, but we do know that the flop was ten high and Brown needed runner-runner to win. Wouldn't you know it, that's exactly what happened.
"We appreciate you trying to get us to the money," someone at the table joked as the chip leader stacked even more chips and brought the field down to 76 players.

Action folded to Kurt Jewell in the hijack and he opened for 9,500, which Dantonio Brown called from the cutoff. The button and both blinds got out of the way and it was heads up to the flop, which both players checked. When the dealer burned and turned the , Jewell check-called a bet of 10,000, and then both players checked the river.
Jewell turned over for aces and deuces, which prompted Brown to muck. Despite that hand, both players are doing quite well with Brown once again sitting on the big stack.

Right now, the tournament clock says 84 players remain in the tournament, but with only 72 places being paid, a dozen more players will have to leave unhappy. With less than 10 minutes on the tournament clock before the end of Level 17, it looks as if the money bubble will have to wait until after everyone fills their bellies.
Action folded to an unknown player on the button and he put in a raise to 9,000. Marco Palacios called from the small blind, the big blind came along for the ride, and it was three-handed action to the flop. Palacios checked, the big blind bet 10,000, and the original raiser folded on the button.
Palacios decided to make the call and then turned around and led out for 15,000 when the hit the turn. The big blind instantly folded and Palacios took down the pot without further resistance, brining him u to 320,000.
