One Last Shuffle Up and Deal!
Bill Bruce and company just held a nice presentation ceremony in honor of Jimmy and Teresa Sommerfeld, who've been working at the WSOP for many years. Both are retiring and while Jimmy will be working the West Palm Beach stop, Tunica marks Teresa's last event; in fact, today is her last day.
In recognition of their hard work and dedication, their coworkers presented them with matching bracelets, akin to a poker championship bracelet. It was an emotionally charged scene as the entire poker room applauded and rose from their chairs before Teresa gave the traditional "Shuffle up and deal" one last time.
With that, the cards are in the air here on Day 2 of the WSOP Circuit Harrah's Tunica.
