In the last hand before the break, Phil Mader was crippled by Krissi McFarland. Now, one hand after the break, he has been eliminated from the tournament in 19th place.
Mader's final hand came when he got all in preflop holding and was up against the of Bryan Campanello. The didn't hit Campanello directly, but it did give him an open-ended straight draw. The turn didn't complete it, but the river did.
During the break, Krissi McFarland and Phil Mader were heads up on a board of . McFarland led out for 50,000, and Mader moved all in for effectively 511,000. McFarland tanked for the better part of two minutes, then called.

We caught the action with 700,000 already in the pot and a board reading . Bryan Campanello had checked and opened the door for Krissi McFarland to bet the same amount she had on the turn... 250,000. Campanello made a relatively quick call and McFarland sheepishly turned over . Campanello then tabled to take down the pot.
Phil Mader opened to 52,000 from under the gun, Brant Hale called on his direct left, and Bryan Campanello three-bet to 128,000 on the button. Mader moved all in for 302,000, Hale folded, and Campanello called.

The board came , and Mader doubled to 780,000 chips. Campanello slipped to 960,000.
Mitch Schock opened to 55,000 in middle position, and four people called, including Jon Wood, Clifton Stewart, and Curtis Steele. The flop fell , and the action checked to Schock, who fired 150,000. Wood moved all in, and the action folded back to Schock, who folded as well.
The very next hand, Schock open-shoved for 270,000 or so. Steele called all in from the small blind for much less, and the hands were opened.
Phil Mader open-shoved on the button for 171,000, and Will Nguyen looked him up from the big blind.

The flop gave both players a pair, and Nguyen remained in the lead. The on the turn was a brick, but the fell on the river, giving Mader two pair.
He doubled to 360,000 chips, while Nguyen dropped down to 195,000.
A few hands later, after unknown action, Nguyen was all in and at risk with . Brant Hale had him at risk with , and the queens held as the board ran out .
Nguyen doubled back up to 420,000 chips, while Hale dropped down to 1.275 million.
Jonathan Bakhshian finished Day 1b as the chip leader and began Day 2 third in chips overall. That stack took him a long way, but his run has just come to an end in 22nd place due to two big hands.
In the first, we caught the action with around 300,000 in the pot and a board reading . Bakhshian had bet only to have Kasra Khodayarkhani move all in for 365,000 total. "I have to call," Bakhshian said and tabled . Khodayarkhani then showed and held as the completed the board on the river, which left Bakhshian with around 850,000.
A minute or two later, Lee Abramson raised to 50,000 from the cutoff and Bakhshian three-bet to 225,000 from the button. The small blind folded, and then Jeff Fielder moved all in from the big. Abramson got out of the way and Bakhshian called off with . Unfortunately for him, Fielder had him crushed with and held as the board ran out dry.
Bakhshian has been eliminated in 22nd place and will take home $11,748 for his deep run.
