We were not on hand to catch exactly how the hand played out and the exact details were hard to gather with several players attempting to recap the hand at the same time, but here is what we can gather went down:
After a series of bets and raises involving four players before the flop, one player eventually five-bet shoved all in before the flop. Justin Leeson called this bet and Gavin Smith and a fourth player at the table got out of the way.
Leeson:
Opponent:
The fourth player told the table that he folded pocket nines and was kicking himself after the flop came down . Leeson, however, was celebrating as he flopped a full house and was ultimately able to score a knockout and almost double his starting stack. He's currently sitting on 38,000.
We caught up to find the board reading and Matt Affleck heads up in a pot. Affleck's opponent bet 2,350 and Affleck pondered his action for roughly thirty seconds before flat calling.
The board paired with the on the river and Affleck's opponent moved his entire stack all in. Affleck shook his head and slapped his cards into the muck.
"You lay down a flush?" asked someone from across the table.
Affleck nodded and looked down to riffle his chips as the pot was pushed to his opponent.
The board read and there were two checks to Matt Affleck who fired 1,400. The player in the blinds slid out a check-raise to 6,000 and the third player folded. Affleck tanked for a while before decided to flat call.
The dropped down on the river and Affleck's opponent bet him all in. With 5,200 behind, Affleck decided to lay his hand down, thus awarding his opponent the pot.
Three players including Doug Lee saw a flop of in a raise pot. The player in the blinds fired out 700 and the cutoff called. Lee dipped into his stack and came out with a raise to 2,100. Just like that both of his opponents shot their hands away and and Lee took down the pot.
