Smith Gone

Before the break we found the remnants of a hand where Gavin Smith held {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} against an opponent's {A-Hearts}{k-Clubs}. The board read {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{7-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and Smith was forced to ship over a vast majority of his stack to an opponent. He was eliminated from play soon after.

Bonsack Wins Battle of Blinds

Action folded to Mark Bonsack's small blind and he completed. The big blind raised to 1,300 and Bonsack tagged along for the ride.

The flop was {3-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Bonsack checked. His opponent continued for 1,300 only to have Bonsack come over the top for 2,900. The big blind called and the two were off to the {9-Hearts} on fourth street. Bonsack reached for chips and threw out 4,500, which prompted his opponent to lay down his hand. With this win, Bonsack is now sitting on about 59,000 in chips.
