Matt Weber is moving up the chip counts. When we found him he had just over 68,000 chips. We didn't see the big hand he played, but he explained to us that he flopped a set of s in a three-bet pot, and got his opponent to shove all in drawing dead with .
Weber already has two WSOPC Rings and is looking to add a third to his collection.
David Tuchman is gone, Cornel Cimpan is gone, and who busted them?
Jason Bundy, the newest flight 1b chip leader.
We missed the hand but Bundy told us that Tuchman limped for 600, and Bundy himself also limped for 600 only to see Cimpan shove all in for 5,500. Tuchman and Bundy both flatted and saw a high flop.
Bundy told us that Tuchman check called all in for nearly 30,000 after he shoved all in with . Tuchman was holding and Bundy's pair of queens was enough to eliminate both Tuchman and Cimpan.
After the hand Bundy was sitting on a stack of nearly 140,000.
Actor James Woods, who is most recently famous for his appearances on Family Guy and also know for his movies Once Upon a Time in America and Casino is having quite a day here at the WSOPC Main Event Flight 1b.
We just saw him win yet another pot. In the hand, Woods raised to 3200 from middle position and action folded to the small blind who tanked before folding. The big blind also folded.
After the hand, Woods looked to the player in the small blind and asked, "You were thinking about it, did you have a big hand?"
"Big hand," The small blind said.
"How big?" Woods asked turning over . "Did we have the same hand?"
After that hand, Woods is nearing 80,000 chips.
"I have a big tell," he told us. "I bet, they fold."
After a pretty slow start to the day, Doug Lee is finally finding his groove. We walked to his table and he had a freshly acquired stack of chips, nearing 80,000.
Lee, and another player at the table, told us about the hand that got him there. After two limps, Lee raised to 3,000 with and got two callers. On a flop, Lee bet 5,000 and got one caller. On the turn, Lee bet 8,000 and the other player shoved all in.
Lee called and was ahead of his opponents . The on the river was no help, and Lee moved up the leader board to just around 76,000 chips.
Alex Masek just dropped back to near starting stack after making the wrong call.
Preflop, a player raised to 2,000, which Masek three bet to 4,400 from the button. The player called and the flop came . The player first to act checked. Masek bet 3,800 and the player called.
The turn was the and action went check, check. On the river, the player first to act bet 7,000 and after a spell in the tank, Masek made the call. The player showed and that was good enough to take the pot away.
