What is Doug Lee Eating?

"Jason's Mints."

We walked by table 61 and Doug Lee informed us that his stack had jumped yet again, this time to 89,000. So we asked Lee what he was eating to make his chip stack grow. Apparently, Jason Bundy has a box of green Tic Tacs going around the table and being shared, and that's not the only thing Bundy is sharing.

He's also been sharing his chips after a streak of doubling other players up. Most recently he doubled up a player with {A-}{K-} suited against {A-}{A-}. Bundy has dropped down to about 75,000.

Brutal Turn Ends Liebert's Tournament

When we got to the table, Kathy Liebert had gotten her stack of around 25,000 all in preflop against one opponent.

"I know you got me," he said. "I knew when you called that quick you had to have a pair."

Liebert was holding {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} against her opponents {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} so it looked good for her to double up.

The flop was a safe {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, but it did give her opponent four extra outs.

But the table erupted in "ahhs," and pained sighs when the {4-Spades} fell.

"Seven?" Liebert asked the dealer, hoping even for a chop. But it was the {6-Spades} on the river giving her opponent a full house and sending Liebert out the door.

Masek Sent Home

We missed the bustout hand but Eric Baldwin was kind enough to let us know how Alex Masek busted from the tournament.

One player opened to 2,200 and Masek moved all in for about 15,000, Baldwin told us. Baldwin then made the call with {A-}{Q-} and the other player folded. Baldwin held against Masek's {A-}{6-} and that was all she wrote.

"If I Cash In This Tournament, I'm Buying Him A Car"

James Woods is starting to develop a little feud with one of the players at the table. In one hand he described to us, a player had moved all in for 5,000, and he raised to 15,000 with {K-}{K-}. Another player called the 15,000 and the flop came {Q-}{J-}{4-}.

The player who was first to act bet 15,000 and after an agonizing tank. Woods asked the man what he had, and the man told him he had a set.

"Why would you tell me that?" Woods asked.

"My son is a big fan of your movies and he would kill me if I knocked you out," the man replied.

Woods eventually told us that he folded his two Kings face up, thinking that his opponent had flopped a set.

And indeed he did as Woods told us that the other player turned up {Q-}{Q-} for top set.

After the hand, the two men had a good talk, and Woods said that if he cashes in the tournament, he'll buy that man a car.

Affleck Doubles Through Le

Matt Affleck now has around 50,000 chips after doubling up through Allan Le.

Le had put in a raise from the small blind to 10,000, and when action came back to Affleck, he raised all in for 23,600. A player on the button, who had at least 2,000 chips in the pot, tanked a bit before folding. Le then made the call and cards were turned up.

Affleck: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Le: {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades} and that was good enough for Affleck to secure a double.

Affleck Loses his Double and More

Just after Matt Affleck doubled up, he quickly lost it back.

Affleck raised to 2600 from middle position and was called by Allan Le in the cutoff and one other player in the small blind.

The flop fell {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and the player in the small blind moved all in for 20800. Affleck quickly moved all in over the top and Le folded.

Small Blind: {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Affleck: {A-}{Q-}

The player in the small blind would need running hearts, a {5-} or a {10-} to secure a double up.

Turn: {2-Clubs}

A safe card for Affleck that gave no extra outs.

River: {5-Hearts}

Gin for the player in the small blind who doubled up and knocked Affleck back down to around 25,000
