Eriquezzo Opens Up a Gap

Eric Salazar raised it up to 180,000 on the button and Ryan Eriquezzo called from the big blind. The flop fell {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {3-Hearts} on the turn.

Eriquezzo led out for 190,000 and Salazar stuck around to see the {q-Spades} on the river. Eriquezzo reached back for a large bet of 665,000 and Salazar went into the tank again. After playing with his calling chips for a couple of minutes, Salazar dropped in a call.

Eriquezzo tabled {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} for an eight-high straight and Salazar was forced to send his cards to the muck. With that pot, Eriquezzo has opened up the largest lead of this heads-up battle thus far.

Salazar Sliding Back Up

After being down as low as 16 big blinds, Eric Salazar won a couple of hands in a row by shoving preflop and going uncalled.

The next hand Salazar defended his big blind after Ryan Eriquezzo raised to 180,000. The flop came {3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. Eriquezzo continued for a bet of 165,000 and Salazar called. The turn was the {10-Diamonds}, both players checked.

The river was the {4-Diamonds}. Salazar led out with a bet of of 580,000 which caused Eriquezzo to fold and Salazar moved his stack back up.

Eric Salazar just limped in on the button and Ryan Eriquezzo checked his option. The dealer fanned the flop of {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}, and Eriquezzo started with a check.

Salazar splashed in a bet of 110,000 and Eriquezzo check-raised to 435,000. Salazar responded with an all in shove for over 1,600,000 and that prompted a snap-fold from Eriquezzo.

Salazar scooped the pot and climbed back over the 20 big blind mark after slipping the past couple of hands.

Another Queen on the Turn Keeps Salazar Alive

Eric Salazar limped in on the button and Ryan Eriquezzo bumped it up to 400,000 from the big blind. Salazar re-raised to 1,280,000 and Eriquezzo tanked for a bit before shoving all in. Salazar instantly called and the cards were tabled.
