Georato Eliminates Conniff After Tank Call

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Asher Conniff moved all in for his remaining 380,000 on a flop of {7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{a-Spades}. Robert Georato thought long and hard about the decision. He counted it out and assessed the situation. After more than two minutes he made the call.

Both players were drawing as Conniff had {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} while Georato led with the {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}. The turn was the {5-Hearts} and the river came the {3-Clubs} and Conniff was the last victim before the two table redraw.

Vadlamudi Flushes Lowery to the Rail

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Srinivasa Vadlamudi raised it up from the hijack and Randy Lowery called from the big blind. The flop came {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and the two players quickly got all of the chips in the middle with Lowery being at risk for just under 500,000.

Srinivasa Vadlamudi: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Randy Lowery: {9-Hearts}{5-Spades}

The {j-Spades} on the turn changed nothing but the {3-Hearts} on the river gave Vadlamudi the nut flush. Lowery became the first elimination of the day as the first level came to an end.

Lowery Hits River to Survive

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Randy Lowery moved his remaining short stack into the middle. He was called by Srinivasa Vadlamudi.

Lowery had the {a-Hearts}{6-Spades} against Vadlamudi's {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. The flop sent Vadlamudi ahead as it came {3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades}. The turn was the {5-Hearts} and the river saved Lowery as the {a-Clubs} peeled off to give him the winning top pair.

Seymour Recovering Nicely

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

After being down to less than six blinds, Rodney Seymour has recovered nicely with back-to-back double ups. In the latest one, Dann Turner opened to 125,000 on the button and Seymour shoved all in for 685,000 in the small blind. Turner instantly called and the cards were tabled.

Rodney Seymour: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Dann Turner: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Turner held the larger pair and had both of the suits covered. The flop of {10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades} wasn't much help to Seymour but the {6-Spades} on the turn gave him a straight draw. He didn't need that as the {8-Clubs} on the river gave Seymour a set of eights to score a double up.

Whittinghill Rivers Boat

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Three players were on the turn of a board that read {j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{a-Clubs}. All three checked it to the river which came the {10-Hearts}. Wayne Whittinghill made a bet of 225,000. Billy Cashwell folded and Randy Lowery called after a couple of moments.

Whittinghill turned over the [10s01d] for the rivered boat and Lowery mucked his hand as he was left short as he has taken several hits early.

Royal Flush for McClanahan

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Shawn McClanahan opened to 140,000 in the hijack and Rodney Seymour announced all in from the big blind. McClanahan gave it some thought before calling off his stack of 695,000.

Shawn McClanahan: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}
Rodney Seymour: {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

McClanahan was in a dominating position and the flop of {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Clubs} put him even further ahead. The {10-Spades} on the turn gave McClanahan a royal flush and the {3-Clubs} on the river was insignificant.

Born and Turner Go to the River

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Scott Born opened to 110,000 in early position and was called by Dann Turner in the small blind and Rodney Seymour in the big blind. The flop came {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and the action checked to Born who continued for 165,000. Turner called and Seymour stepped aside.

The turn brought the {j-Spades} and Turner check-called another bet of 275,000 from Born. The river was the {2-Hearts} and Turner checked for the third time. Born slid out a bet of 450,000 and Turner finally conceded the pot.
