Zhao Jumps Into the Lead

Ladva vs Zhao
Ladva vs Zhao

Blinds 2,500-5,000

Ottomar Ladva raised to 10,000 from the under the gun position and was called by Wei Zhao in the big blind. On a {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop, Zhao opted for a check-call when Ladva made it 6,825 to go. That led to the {4-Clubs} turn on which Zhao check-raised to 109,875. Ladva had bet 22,975 and called all-in for the 32,239 he had behind.

Ottomar Ladva: {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Wei Zhao: {7-Spades}{6-Spades}

The {3-Clubs} river brought no diamond and Ladva hit the rail.

Levi Rips Into Aces

Levi eliminated
Levi eliminated

Blinds 350-700

Shahar "levinson95" Levi got into a raising war with early chip leader Charles "TheMadQueen" La Boissonniere and ultimately ended up six-bet jamming for a total of 81,517 button versus big blind. He was snapped off by La Boissonniere.

Shahar "levinson95" Levi: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Charles "TheMadQueen" La Boissonniere: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

There was no shimmer of hope on a board of {q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} as La Boissionniere bossed around the next opponent.

Teusl and Bicknell Finish Off "1_2_3"

1_2_3 eliminated by Bicknell
1_2_3 eliminated by Bicknell

Blinds 125-250

"1_2_3" cold-called a three-bet to 2,250 and then called a four-bet to 8,500 by Jessica Teusl, which also brought Sebastian "joga_bonito" Henao along. On a {k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop, "1_2_3" bet the pot for 25,865 and was called by Teusl only, who then called all-in for 14,516 when she faced a jam on the {9-Hearts} turn.

Jessica Teusl: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
"1_2_3": {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The {10-Hearts} river was a blank and Teusl doubled.

One hand later, "1_2_3" was at risk preflop for the last bits with {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} against the {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} of Kristen Bicknell. The board ran out {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{8-Spades} to give Bicknell sevens and sixes.

WSOP Online Circuit Ring Up for Grabs on GGPoker in Event #14: $800 FIFTY STACK

WSOP Winter Online Circuit
WSOP Winter Online Circuit

Yet another busy Super Sunday in the 2020 GGPoker World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Circuit features an official ring event with a seven-figure prize pool as of 1 p.m. EST (6 p.m. UTC). Event #14: $800 FIFTY STACK will award at least $1,000,000 in cash prizes to all those finishing in the top 15% of the field.

All players start with double the usual stack of 50,000 in chips, which equals 250 big blinds for the first level at blinds of 100-200 and a running ante of 25. The late registration will be available until 9.40 p.m. UTC (level 16) and each level until the final table lasts 12 minutes each. During the registration period, all participants can re-enter up to three times to take another shot at the seven-figure prize pool.

Once the final nine players combine, they get to pick their seats by order of chips and then play 25 hands for each blind level until a champion has been crowned. The limits may roll back to ensure an average stack of at least 40 big blinds according to the new feature implemented on GGPoker.

There are more than 300 early sign-ups, who are all eligible for the bubble protection and may earn their buy-in back in tournament dollars if busting in close proximity of the bubble. Notables registered thus far include GGPoker ambassador Felipe Ramos, Pete Chen, Bryan Paris, Jessica Teusl, Mario Mosboeck, Manig Loeser, Dara O'Kearney, the GGPoker GGSquad members Patrick "Egption" Tardif and Michiel "Easterdamnz" Van Elsacker, as well as Stefan Schillhabel.

According to the tournament lobby, the tournament is expected to run for just shy of eight hours. Stay tuned as the PokerNews live reporting team will aim to provide as many key hands as possible en route to crown another champion in this one-day event.
