Croteau Falls to Fahey

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Andrew Fahey opened to 23,000 from the hijack and Gabriel Croteau raised to 96,000 from the small blind, leaving a single yellow T-1,000 chip behind. Fahey made the call.

Croteau got his last chip in the middle on the 10310 flop and Fahey called to put Croteau at risk.

Andrew Fahey: J9
Gabriel Croteau: 77 All in

Croteau's pocket sevens remained ahead on the 6 turn but the 9 river gave Fahey a better two pair to send Croteau to the rail and continue accumulating chips.

Bernier Hangs on With Jacks

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Three players had limped in before Jeffrey Cormier raised to 65,000 from the button. Pierre Bernier called from the small blind and the limpers got out of the way leaving Cormier and Bernier heads up to a flop.

Both players checked the flop, turn and river on the K82A6 runout. Bernier turned over JJ for a pair of jacks and Cormier's hand hit the muck.

Roth Runs into Cowboys

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Evan Roth moved in for approximately 205,000 from early position on a board reading A2K5J and was called by Samuel Guillen who held a covering stack in middle position.

Roth had KQ for second pair but it was no good against Guillen who held KK for a set of kings to send Roth to the rail and take down a healthy pot.
