Ben Sabrin Doubles Through Jesse Dean

With the board showing {K-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs} Jesse Dean moved all in. Ben Sabrin thought a bit before saying "there's only one card in the deck that beats me...if you have the ace of clubs then I guess you got it...I call." Sabrin showed {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and Dean reluctantly mucked. Dean is now crippled with about 30,000.

Josh Arieh Eliminated in 17th Place ($12,976)

Josh Arieh - 17th Place
Josh Arieh - 17th Place
Josh Arieh was all in preflop against chip leader John Devia. Arieh had Devia dominated holding the {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}. Devia held the {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. It was looking great for Arieh by the turn as the board read {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, but no sooner than the tournament director could announce the Devia would need to catch one of two remaining tens, he did just that when the {10-Hearts} hit the river. Arieh, as if he knew it were coming, nodded in agreement and headed towards the payout table. Josh Arieh is our 17th place finisher.

Charles Cardin Eliminated in 15th Place ($15,571)

Charles Cardin - 15th Place
Charles Cardin - 15th Place
On a board reading {Q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts}, Charles Cardin moved all in and was called by Tom Schneider. The players showed:

Cardin: {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}
Schneider: {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Cardin was in the lead with his kicker but Schneider could make two pair or a flush on the river. The river brought the {K-Hearts} giving Cardin two pair, but making Schneider the winning flush. A quick handshake between the men and Cardin made his way towards the door. Cardin will take home $15,571 for his strong finish here today.
