Scholz Eliminated

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 0 ante
Hannes Scholz
Hannes Scholz

Thomas Bichon limped and Hannes Scholz then raised to 8,700 from the button. Bichon put him in and Scholz called for his tournament life with around 29,000 chips.

Scholz: {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Bichon: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The flop {7-Spades}{10-Spades}{Q-Clubs} was no good for Scholz despite picking up a straight draw. The {Q-Diamonds} turn and the {7-Hearts} river bricked as well and that was it for the German. The action continued for one more hand before it was paused and the players were then sent on a 20-minute break.

Dimitri Holdeew raised to 3,200 and was called by Jan-Peter Jachtmann and Vasili Firsau. The latter was sitting in the big blind and checked the flop {J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Holdeew continued for 8,000 and Jachtmann folded, Firsau called. Both players checked the {J-Clubs} on the turn before Firsau took down the hand uncontested with a bet of 12,200 on the {2-Hearts} river.

Holdeew Takes from Vilmunen

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Among the first few hands, Jani Vilmunen had raised and Dimitri Holdeew stayed in the hand from the button. Vilmunen checked the {3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} flop in the cutoff seat and then called a bet worth 5,500 by Holdeew. On the {A-Hearts} turn, Vilmunen check-called a bet of 15,000 and then also checked the {A-Spades} river. Holdeew made it 35,000 to go and that won the hand without showdown.

Hairabedian busts on the Feature Table

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 0 ante
Roger Hairabedian
Roger Hairabedian

On the heads-up flop of {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} , Roger Hairabedian got his stack in with the {K-}{Q-}{J-}{6-} for king-high and a super wrap to make a straight. Thomas Bichon looked him up with the {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades} and the board filled up with the {10-Hearts} turn and the {2-Hearts} river.

The field has been reduced to the final nine and there is now a quick five-minute break with a redraw is about to take place. Once they are down to eight players, the official final table will be streamed with hole cards. There are 26:35 minutes remaining in the current level.

Ravindran Busts Hougaard

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 0 ante
Jesper Hougaard
Jesper Hougaard

Arvin Ravindran opened to 4,000 from under the gun and Jesper Hougaard just flat-called from two seats over to see a rainbow flop of {Q-}{10-}{5-}. Ravindran continued for 10,000 and Hougaard shoved with the {K-}{K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for bottom two pair. Ravindran had that dominated with {A-}{A-}{Q-}{10-} and both the turn and river bricked.
