Mothes Gets Small Revenge

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

In a three-way limped pot, Martin Kabrhel bet the flop {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} flop for 10,000. Philipp Zukernik folded his {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Pierre Mothes called with the {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. Kabrhel also bet the {2-Clubs} turn for 17,000 with the {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and got called to improve to the best hand on the {Q-Diamonds} river.

Kabrhel checked and Mothes' bet of 57,000 enforced a fold after some consideration. "That's a good bet," the Czech said in table chat.

Kabrhel also defended his {J-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and flopped top pair, however Mothes had the better kicker with {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and called a small bet of 28,000 on the river of a {J-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{2-Spades} board to scoop another small pot.
