Players Are Taking Their Seats

Hand-for-hand play is about to commence.

The speed at which this event has broken has been amazing. We started with 1,427 players just under 11 hours ago, and we are now down to just 127 and are about to hit the money. This is one of the biggest fields of the 2007 WSOP so far, and is the earliest we have hit the money all week.

Still at 127

4 hands deep into hand-for-hand play, we have yet to lose our bubble player. The tournament staff just announced that the players will now go on a 15-minute break while the dealers race off the $25 chips. When players return from break, we will resume hand-for-hand play.

Vos is No Mas

After doubling up to 3,600, Mark Vos won a small string of all-in bets, building his stack up to about 6,800. His run ended when he moved all-in with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and was called by {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, giving his opponent top pair, but he still had 12 outs to win the hand. The turn and river came {4-Clubs} {4-Spades} and Vos was eliminated.
