Scott Clements Eliminated

Shortstacked, Clements pushed all-in UTG holding {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}. He was called by the big blind, who showed {Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

The flop looked good for Scott, {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{K-Diamonds}, but the {Q-Diamonds} on the turn gave his opponent two pair.

The {4-Hearts} on the river brought no help for Scott and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Erik Seidel Doubles Up

Erik Seidel's opponent put him all-in on the turn, with the board showing {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Spades}. Erik made the call and turned over {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}, for top pair, top kicker.

His opponent showed {J-Spades}{9-Spades} for a pair of 9's and Seidel's aces held up when the river came {8-Hearts}.

Seidel now has 41,000 chips.

No Mercy for Mercier

On a board reading {8-Spades}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts}, Isabelle Mercier moved all in for 13,000 from the big blind with {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. A player in early position reraised all-in for 21,000 with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and was called by a third player from late position.

The late position player had the best of it on the flop, showing {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, good for top two pair. His hand would hold, sending Mercier to the rail.
