Huge Three-Way Pot

We have just had a huge pot where Dustin Dirksen, who was the chip leader at the start of play, lost about 75 percent of his stack -- after having both Matt Sterling, and James Mackey all in for their tournament lives. Dustin had A-K, Mackey Q-Q, and Sterling K-10. The flop came 9-2-Q, and Mackey was way ahead. The turn was a jack, which made a straight for Sterling, but Mackey still won a massive pot. James Mackey is the chip leader in the event.

Nick Schulman Doubles Up

A middle position player opens for a raise pre-flop, Seat 8 re-raises and Nick Schulman comes over the top all-in for around 120,000. The original raiser folds and Seat 8 calls and has Nick covered. Nick shows {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}, and his opponent turns over two tens. The board brings no help for Nick's opponent, and 'The Takeover' doubles up to around 250,000 chips

Sachinidis Eliminated in 33rd

Jim Sachinidis pushed all in UTG and was called by Max Pescatori. Sachinidis had {A-Spades}{3-Diamonds} to Pescatori's {J-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. The flop of {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts} was a good one for Jim. The turn of {9-Spades} and the river of {10-Clubs} gave Max a runner-runner straight.
