With two players limping into the pot Max Pescatori moved all-in from the small blind for his last 1,725. Both limpers called and they checked down the hand as the board ran out {10-Diamonds}

and one of the players showed pocket Queens to take the pot. Pescatori mucked without showing and was eliminated.

One Way to Handle the Problem

A player at David Williams' table had been raising and re-raising him at every opportunity. The two were heads up again and with the board showing {7-Clubs}

Williams seemed resigned when he said, "You can raise me 3,000, 3,500, I won't get get mad."

The other player decided to raise to 3,000 and Williams instantly shoved all his chips into the center of the pot without even counting them. The other player waited to see how much a call would cost before mucking his cards.

Many forget about the last hand of the 2000 WSOP Main Event. All the money went into the middle with T.J. holding A-Q, and Chris Ferguson holding A-9. T.J. lost when a 'Magic 9' hit the river. Had that nine not hit, poker history would be different.

John Phan Hits Flush and Doubles Up

, and his opponent had top pair with pocket kings. The turn and river came {J-Clubs}

, his opponent made a set, but Phan hit his flush to take the pot and double up.

T.J. Cloutier Builds His Stack

T.J. Cloutier won two hands in quick succession to boost his chip count to 15,000. In the first hand he won a race with A-J when another player holding pocket Sixes moved all-in before the flop. T.J. flopped two pair and that shot him up to 10,000.

A few hands later the player in the cutoff raised and T.J. set him all-in while holding {A-Spades}
