More Big Names

Nearly every square inch of the Amazon Room is packed with tables, so it's taking us a bit to hack our way to the deepest, darkest regions. But in addition to the names already listed we've also spotted David "Devilfish" Ulliott, Annie Duke, Mikael Thuritz, David Benyamine, David Williams, and Shane "Shaniac" Schleger.

Man Down!

One of the first players out in the "overflow tent" to be sent off was eliminated by 1983 Main Event champion Tom McEvoy. McEvoy flopped two pair with J-4.

The Bright Lights

The ESPN cameras just found their way over to Jamie Gold's table, and it was interesting to see the other players pointedly ignoring the wide-mouthed lens aimed at them and the boom mike hanging over the middle of the table.

Doug Lee Doesn't Take the Bait

After seeing a flop with an eight and two deuces, a player re-raised Doug Lee all-in. As Lee considered the player tried talking Lee into folding, and when Lee wouldn't make a decision, called the clock. Lee let the clock expire without acting on his hand, and his opponent showed pocket deuces for quads. Lee said he folded pocket sevens.

The Poker Peeks are Back

They are using the same cards from yesterday's event, with the interesting (confusing) sixes and nines.

On a flop of 6-6-8, Daniel Negreanu exclaims, "Look at that, is that two sixes, two nines, six-nine, what?"

The whole tables roars as a third six hits the turn.

After some betting on the river, the opponents open their hands, one has the fourth six, and amazingly, the other has pocket nines!
