Dr. Pauly Doubles Up

Dr. Pauly
Dr. Pauly
Paul "Dr. Pauly" McGuire doubled his stack with the following two hands:

McGuire limped from UTG with {8-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and along with seven other players saw a flop of {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. McGuire bet 275, an early-position player called, a middle-position player raised to 1,000, and McGuire moved all in for 2,000. The EP player folded 7-7, the MP player folded J-10, and McGuire scooped the pot with his flopped straight.

On a subsequent hand, McGuire limped on the button with {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier checked from the big blind. The flop came jack-high, Grospellier fired out a pot-sized bet, McGuire moved all-in and Grospellier folded.

McGuire is now up to 6,000.

Mark Seif Eliminated by Richard Tatalovich

Mark Seif
Mark Seif
Mark Seif raised pre-flop to 200 and Richard Tatalovich called. Tatalovich checked in the dark as the flop came down {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. Seif bet 350, Tatalovich immediately raised to 1,200 and Seif called, saying "the only hand I'm really scared of is K-J."

The turn was the {7-Spades}. Tatalovich bet 850 and Seif called all in, turning over the {Q-Clubs}{3-Clubs} to Tatalovich's {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}. The river was the {J-Hearts} and Seif hit the rail.

Tatalovich was up to 6,500 after the hand.

More "Alaska Reinforcements" Are in the House Looking for David Williams

Bruce Musick won his seat in today's event by winning a fundraiser hosted by "The Alaska Poker Association." The Association hosts fundraisers for local charities and Alaskan business owners have shown great support by donating prizes. Also in todays event is Wayne McGregor, the founding member of the association, who finished in 215th place in Event #35 out of a field of 2,541.

Mike Forman is one of the business owners that sponsers and has been a long-time supporter of the association. Forman is also playing today. Again, they are keeping an eye out for David Williams. The bounty will continue throughout the W.S.O.P. McGregor already has his seat in the Main Event.
