Singer Stays Alive....Again

With a recent elimination, David Singer was the lone 18K blind. Action folded around to Daniel Negreanu on the button who raised to 36K. Singer called. The two saw a flop of {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Singer checked and Negreanu bet 18K. Singer called. The turn brought a {J-Clubs}. Singer checked and Daniel bet 36K. Singer contemplated the call for quite some time. Negreanu tried what seemed to be his absolute hardest to talk Singer into the call. Singer had only about 80K total remaining. As Singer eyed his shrinking stack Negreanu said "Come on...you've been shorter than that before." Eventually Singer made the call. Negreanu said to the dealer "Give my buddy David a good card...he needs it." The dealer burned and put down the river {6-Spades}. Singer paused a bit and then bet. Daniel made a reluctant call and Singer flipped up {A-Clubs}{5-Hearts} for the straight. Negreanu said "I knew you liked the six" as he mucked. Singer now sits on 590K.
