Marcel Down to 15K; Still Double the Average

A preflop raise from middle position got three callers (Marcel Luske called from the big blind), so the hand was 4-way going into the flop.

The first three cards off the deck were {10-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. Both blinds checked and the original raiser led out with a bet. The player who called from late position mucked and both of the blinds made the call.

The turn brought the {8-Clubs} and the action was passed to Marcel who attempted to take control of the hand. His bet was raised by the aggressor and the small blind folded; Marcel made the call.

The river brought the {6-Hearts}, which would've completed a possible flush draw and both players checked the river.

Marcel's opponent showed the {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} for Broadway and Marcel mucked his hand.

The loss hit Marcel hard, but he's still in very good shape at 15,000 chips.
