Suited Connectors No Good

Board:
{J-Clubs}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

In middle position, a player bets 700. Allen Cunningham makes it 1,500 in the cutoff. The MP player makes it 5,000 and Cunningham goes all in. The MP calls 2,800 more and shows {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Cunningham has {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and it holds up. Cunningham's at 32,500.

Brandon Adams Doubles Up

Brandon Adams pushed all-in and one player called. Adams was behind with {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}, against his opponent's {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}. The board came {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, and then an {A-Spades} came on the river and Adams doubled up to 10,500. As Adams stacked his chips, his opponent was still talking to himself. (Nothing I think we want to know.)

Hellmuth's Opponent Better Recognize

Board:
{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

The under the gun player limps and Phil Hellmuth raises to 1,000 in the cutoff. The big blind pushes a large stack all in and only Hellmuth calls. Hellmuth has {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and the opponent {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. They split.

The opponent isn't too pleased. "So, you call there with A-Q off?" he says.
"Oh, you're gonna criticize the greatest Hold'em player in the world," says Hellmuth.

Phil Hellmuth Doubles Up Twice

Hand #1
Board: {9-Clubs}{A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

Preflop, Seat 5 raises to 600 and Hellmuth re-raises all in for 900 more. Hellmuth has {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and seat 5 has {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. Hellmuth has 2,500.

Hand #2
Board: J-2-3-6-4

Preflop, the small blind raises to 600 and Hellmuth in the big blind pushes. The small blind says he doesn't know what to do. "Pick the math," Hellmuth says. "I failed math," the small blind says, calling. Hellmuth shows A-4 and the opponent has K-10. Hellmuth is up to 6,500.
