Scotty Nguyen loses Two Pots

Hand #1: Scotty Nguyen lost a pot to Rene Mouritsen and slipped to 515K.

Hand #2: Stephen Ladowsky doubled up against Scotty Nguyen. On a board of {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts}, Ladowsky checked, Annie Duke checked, Scotty Nguyen bet 50K and said, "Anyone can win, baby!"

Nguyen eyed the pot as he bet the river. Ladowsky called for 41K and was all in. Ladowsky showed {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for the winning hand and Nguyen mucked. Nguyen slipped to 335K while Ladowsky increased his stack to 195K.

Annie Duke Doubles Up

Annie Duke raised 36K UTG and everyone folded to Sylvester Geoghegan in the big blind. He went into the tank for a few minutes. Annie said she was going to move all in one the flop for her last 45K no matter what he decided to do. Geoghegan just called her 35K bet. The flop was {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, and Geoghegan bet enough to put Duke all in and she called.

Geoghegan flipped over {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} while Duke tabled {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. She was ahead, but Geoghegan had an open-ended straight draw. The turn was the {4-Spades} and the river was the {6-Hearts}. Duke doubled up and increased her stack to 174K.

Leonardo Fernandez Eliminated in 18th Place ($28,040)

On a flop of {8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}, Leonardo Fernandez checked, Robert Mizrachi bet 35K and Fernandez called. The turn was the {K-Hearts}. Fernandez checked. Mizrachi bet 80K and Fernandez check-raised all in for 257K. Mizrachi called.

Fernandez: {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Mizrachi: {K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

Fernandez was ahead until the {6-Hearts} spiked on the river, which gave Mizrachi a straight. Fernandez busted out in 18th place.

That hand pushed Mizrachi into the chiplead with almost 800K.
