Todd Brunson raised to 2,400, a late position player re-raised to 6,100 and Brunson called. Brunson drew one while his opponent rapped pat. Brunson bet 12,000 after the draw and his opponent called. Brunson showed 8-7-5-3-2 but his opponent had him just out-pipped with 8-7-4-3-2 and took the pot.
Johnny Chan raised to 2,500 from early position and Ted Forrest called from the small blind. Forrest drew one and Chan stood pat. Both players checked after the draw. Forrest showed 9-8-6-4-2. Chan showed a jack and mucked.
Phil Hellmuth raised it up to 3,000 from early position and Bob Bright called from late position. Both players drew one card. Phil bet out 2,000 after the draw, Bright raised to 6,000 and Hellmuth called. Hellmuth showed a Q-low and Bright took it down with 9-7-6-5-2.
Phil Hellmuth raised to 3,000 pre-draw and the action was folded around to Minh Ly in the big blind. He counted out his chips and thought for a moment before taking action.
"Bet it all, Minh!" said Hellmuth.
"OK, I will" replied Ly as he moved all in.
Hellmuth folded and Ly turned over a pat full house with a laugh.
Phil Hellmuth moved all in for 20,300 before the draw and Doyle Brunson called. Hellmuth drew one and Brunson stood pat. Brunson showed T-8-5-3-2, but Hellmuth had him beat with 9-7-4-3-2.
After the hand, Hellmuth was up to 50,000 while Brunson was down to 10,700.
