Richard Kirsch Moves On

John McKinney was all in on the big blind for 34,450 on a board of {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

Richard Kirsch played the hand out to himself out loud, and eventually called and showed {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} to McKinney's {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. The river was the {K-Diamonds}, counterfeiting McKinney's diamonds and giving the hand, and the table, to Kirsch.

Juinther Hanging On

Remy Biechel won a few pots and knocked Jimmy Juinther down to his last 5,050. Juinther then went all in preflop with 10-7, flopped two sevens, and is hanging on with 11,000.

The Clock Strikes for Doc

On a flop of {A-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, John Juanda and "Doc" checked it. The turn was {2-Hearts} and Doc bet 4,000. Juanda was all in for 9,000 and "Doc" called. Juanda had {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} to the {K-Spades}{9-Hearts} for "Doc". The river was {2-Hearts} and the mysterious "Doc" disappeared into the ether, meaning Juanda moves on to Round 2.

Juanda Applies Pressure

On a flop of {J-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}, "Doc" checks from middle position and John Juanda makes it 2,500 from late position. "Doc" raises to 7,500 and Juanda re-raises to 45,000. "Doc" folds.

Juanda has 76,000 to the 24,000 of "Doc."
