William Kakon has been eliminated by Gary Bogdanski. William opened with a raise from mid-position that only Gary called. All the chips went it on {K-Clubs}

. Willian tabled {A-Diamonds}

but it was no match for Gary's {A-Clubs}

. The turn, {2-Clubs}

, and river, {3-Hearts}

, changed nothing and William heads out of the Amazon room. Gary stacks his extra chips now totalling 38,500.

. After a series of bets and raises Tom Savitsky and Steve Foutty get all the chips in the middle but it's Tom that's the all in player. Steve tables {A-Clubs}

to Tom's

but the turn {8-Clubs}

and river

change nothing meaning Tom is eliminated.

Another Falls Short

Terrence Chan has knocked out Donna Varlotto. All the chips went it pre-flop and Donna was looking good with {A-Hearts}

to Terrence's {K-Diamonds}

. That was until the flop came down as {K-Hearts}

!! Two pair for Terrence holds up through the river sending Donna to the rail in cruel circumstances. Terrence now on 36,000 in chips.

Pair Over Pair

All chips went in pre flop and the unfortunate Tsai Chen found his {J-?}

up against Larry St Jean's {K-?}

. The board bricked out and sendiing Tsai packing. The grateful Larry on 18,500 now.

Shultz Sails Past 50,000

Jimmy Shultz has made his move past the 50,000 chip mark after mixing it up in a big pot with John Blanton. The flop read {J-Clubs}

and Shultz called a bet from Blanton. The turn was the {Q-Hearts}

and this time Shultz raised Blanton's bet. After a Blanton call the river was the {3-Spades}

and Blanton check called Shultz. Shultz tabled {A-Hearts}

and raked the pot.

Jimmy Shultz now has 55,000 in chips.

No More Songs From Luske

I am sad to report that we will not be hearing any more poker songs from Marcel Luske in this event. With just a few hundred in chips Luske was all in with {7-Clubs}

. Luske was against Kevin Marcotte's {A-Diamonds}

and was unable to improve his hand. Marcotte's ace high won the pot and Luske was sent to the rail.

Marwan Abdelal raises from under the gun and only finds a call from Mitchell Martin in the big blind before the flop brings {10-Spades}

. Mitchell check calls a bet from Marwan before the turn delivers a {6-Diamonds}

. Mitchell leads out this time with a bet that Marwan calls in an instant before the river is revealed as {7-Hearts}

. Mitchell bets once more and receives a call once more. Mitchell flips over {8-Spades}

for a made straight on the river. The dealer announces a straight but Marwan stands, cards tightly in his hand, wanting to see for himself before reluctantly mucking his hand. Mitchell adds 12,800 to his stack.
