Wroblewski Doubles Through Point

Anna Wroblewski has just doubled up to ~16,000 in chips courtesy of Stephanie Point.

Point opened the pot with a pre-flop raise and Wroblewski answered with a raise of her own; Point just called.

The flop came {2-Spades}{5-Spades}{7-Spades} and Anna led out with a bet; Stephanie made the call. The {5-Hearts} came on the turn and the action went bet (Anna), raise (Point), re-raise all in (Anna), call (Point).

At the showdown, Anna tabled {8-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} and for whatever reason, Point never showed her cards. The {7-Hearts} was the last card to fall off the deck and Point took one last look at her hand before tossing it face down towards the dealer, surrendering the hand to Wroblewski, who now sits with approximately 16,000 in chips heading into the break.

Broaddus Can't Catch Up

After getting all his chips in preflop, Gary Broaddus had to watch Vinny Vinh and Ivan Schertzer as they built a side pot. After the flop came {9-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, Schertzer bet from the big blind and Vinh called. The {7-Spades} hit the turn and again Schertzer led out and was called. The river was the {K-Clubs} and Schertzer checked to Vinh. Vinh bet and was called and VInh tabled {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, both of his opponents mucked their hands and Vinh stacked his chips as Broaddus left the table.

A Few More Chips for Shabou

Joseph Sanders makes a raise from early position and then calls a reraise from Nadim Shabou in the cut off. The flops comes {J-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {8-Clubs}. Joseph check-calls a bet from Nadim before the turn comes {7-Hearts}. Once more Jospeh check calls another bet from Nadim before the river is dealt as {J-Hearts}. Both players check it through and the {A-Spades} {K-Spades} is enough to beat Joseph's {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} for the pot.
