Madsen Not Happy

Jeff Madsen
Jeff Madsen
Jeff Madsen has been knocked out, moments after that crippling hand.

An early-position player limped, and Madsen raised all in for 400 from late position. The cutoff reraised, and the button and big blind both called.

The board ran out {J-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {9-Hearts}, and it was checked around on each street.

The winning hand was {A-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {10-Hearts} {2-Hearts}, and Madsen mucked and headed for the door.

Lisandro Out in Fourth

Jeff Lisandro
Jeff Lisandro
Prior to the flop, Jeff Lisandro raised it up, putting himself all in. He got four callers, and the board ran {A-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {7-Clubs}.

When the turn card hit, Lisandro mucked his hand, stood up, and walked away. After it was played down, two players chopped with a wheel, and Lisandro is done for.

Full Tilt Pros on Fire

Full Tilt must really know what they are doing when it comes to Omaha-8, as they have six of the seven current chip leaders in their current roster.

Apart from the stars in John Juanda, David Chiu, Mike Matusow, and Jordan Morgan, the leaders of the pack are Scott Clements and "Miami" John Cernuto.

Gobboboy On Top

Jimmy "gobboboy" Fricke
Jimmy "gobboboy" Fricke
Jimmy "gobboboy" Fricke is now our chip leader as he has just tipped over the 20,000 mark.

Most known for coming second to Gus Hansen in the 2007 Aussie Millions, will he be able to add a bracelet to his trophy case?

Eric Lynch "Rizes"

The player in the cutoff seat made an opening raise. Both blinds made the call, one of them being Eric Lynch, whose call put him all in.

The board came down {6-Clubs} {J-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {9-Clubs}, with one player folding on fourth street. When the betting was concluded, Lynch turned over the winner, {2-Clubs} {7-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}, taking the pot down with a flush, and keeping his chances alive here.

Clements Takes Over

Not long after Jimmy Fricke took over the chip lead, Scott Clements has wrestled it back by taking a nice pot down on his table.

Clements has now moved up to over 24,000 in chips.

It's an Aussie Adventure

Our Aussie field reporters are very much interested in the fate of their fellow countrymen who are still left in the field. So, for them, and any of you out there who are likewise interested, here is the status of the Australians we've spotted:

Gary Benson and Jeff Lisandro have been eliminated. Mel Judah is sitting on 5,000. Sam Khouiss is at 9,300. Billy "the Croc" Argyros has just been quartered in a huge pot and is down to 5,300.

Brett Jungblut Gets Ganked

With the cutoff and big blind both into the pot for a limp, Brett "Gank" Jungblut raised all in for his last 275 from the small blind. The big blind and the original limpers called, and Gank had to dodge four players to stay alive.

The flop came down {A-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}, and everyone folded when the cutoff bet out. The hands were turned over, with the cutoff holding {A-?} {K-?} {Q-?} {10-?}, and Jungblut at risk with {5-Clubs} {5-Spades} {9-Hearts} {8-Spades}. In his best Jim Carrey voice, Gank let out a, "So you're telling me there's a chance..."

More than a chance, in fact. The turn and river came {8-Clubs}, {9-Spades}, giving Gank a full house, and quadrupling him up to 1,100.

Unfortunately for him, he was eliminated just a few hands later.
