State of Play

We were expecting a long night ahead to play down to a final table, but we've just received word that we'll only be playing another two levels tonight, then taking a break, and after that we'll either play one more level or until we have 16 players left. This will allow players to get a decent rest before a big day again tomorrow.

Marco Traniello Eliminated in 33rd Place ($5,141)

The Marco Traniello - Jennifer Harman final table matchup will not happen. In razz, Traniello was all in with the bring-in for $500. Steve Zolotow and Markus Golser made the call. Golser bet Zolotow out of the pot on fourth street with a draw to a seven low. Golser made his seven low on sixth street. The best Traniello could make was a king and his day was done.

Marco Traniello has been eliminated in 33rd place. He will receive $5,141 for his efforts.

Jared Davis = Chip Leader

Stud-8:

Jared Davis is on fire at the moment and recently scooped another pot in Stud-8 against Mallory Smith.

Smith held ({K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}) {4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs} (X) and called down the whole way but bricked on the river as Davis showed ({A-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}) {A-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} ({8-Spades}) for aces up and an eight low to scoop the pot.

Davis is now a clear chip leader with about 230,000 chips.
