Yue Huang has been on a massive rampage, turning about 90,000 into 230,000 in just a few hands.
First, he eliminated Ernest Bennett -- Yue raised to 10,000 with pocket nines, Bennett went all in for 25,000 total, and Huang called. The K-2-3-8-5 board changed nothing, and Huang raced ahead.
Then a few hands after that, he took a massive pot off overnight chip leader Dustin Dirksen. Huang raised 10,000 from the cutoff and Dirksen called from the big blind. They saw a flop and Huang bet 15,000. Dirksen called. Huang bet another 20,000 on the turn and went all in for 69,000 on the river, and each time Dirksen called. Huang turned over for the flopped nuts, and Dirksen mucked.

Jared Hamby
Jared Hamby now has 100,000 after his kings held up against Nick Niergarth's A-Q. It wasn't easy though, Hamby forced to turn a flush after Niergarth had spiked a bullet on a 3-A-T-9-Q board.

Andrew Lee has eliminated an opponent, calling him all in with A-Q. The opponent was holding 5-7 and flopped two pair, but a relieved Lee hit runner-runner queens for trips to knock him out.

Young Phan has enjoyed a double-up to around 70,000. He was a massive favorite going into the hand, getting it in preflop with against an opponent's , but in the end he improved further, making an extraordinary straight flush on the board.

Paul Smith raised to 8,000 UTG, only for Kent Washington to reraise to 30,000. It folded around to Smith, who went all in for another 47,000. Washington thought about it for a long time, before calling him with pocket nines. Unfortunately for Washington, Smith had pocket aces. No nines or other small miracles on the board, and Smith enjoyed a full double up to 188,000, while Washington was down almost to the felt.
And indeed, the very next hand Washington stuck it in with J-Q and got himself called by A-K -- with no help from the board, he is now OUT.

Chris Bjorin was the man who eliminated Will Failla, the serial WSOP finalist, calling Failla's all-in preflop and seeing his tens hold up against A-Q on a 7-2-4-J-K board.

The wonderfully named Loyal Sprague has been eliminated from today's event in 71st place, as has former WSOP finalist from earlier in the week, Glen Bean.
