Forrest Draws Juanda

We wandered over to a hand between Ted Forrest and John Juanda with the flop showing {8-Hearts}

. Forrest bet out 1,400, and Juanda smooth-called.

The turn was the {4-Hearts}

, and Forrest bet the full pot, enough to put Juanda all in. Juanda did indeed make the call, showing down {10-Spades}

. Forrest tabled {A-Hearts}

. Both men had big draws and Juanda needed to hit his to stay alive.

The river did hit his straight when the {10-Hearts}

fell, but it hit Forrest harder, giving him the nut flush.

Juanda headed for the rail, while Forrest has taken those chips and worked his stack up to 31,000.
