The board didn't do it for Granstad. It came down , and it spelled the end for Mr. Granstad. For his efforts over the last two days, he will cash out nearly $10,000.
Kenneth Fitzgerald Eliminated in 19th Place ($7,358)
The board failed to get Fitzgerald over the hump when it ran out . He is headed out in 19th place, and will earn the aforementioned payout of $7,358.
Gabe Costner Eliminated in 20th Place ($7,358)
In the very next hand, Allen Cunningham opened from the cutoff seat, and Costner reraised the pro. Cunningham pushed back enough to endanger Costner's tournament existence, and all the chips got into the middle.
Costner tabled , and Cunningham had him exactly where he wanted him with . The board favored Cunningham; it came , giving him the only pair, and sending Costner to the cashier.
For his efforts yesterday and today, Costner earns $7,358 and the right to boast about another deep run in a tournament.

Penly, Kelly Trade Places
Lennart Holtkamp raises the full pot from middle position, making it 8,400 to go. David Penly is on the button, and he calls when the action returns to him. Next is John-Paul Kelly, and he raises the pot on top -- 27,600 more. Holtkamp folds, and Penly goes into the tank. He asks for a count, and learns that Kelly has 27,000 remaining. Instead of pushing back though, he makes the flat-call, and the two men go to the flop.
As the dealer burns the first card, Kelly slides those 27,000 chips into the pot dark, and sees the flop come . Penly didn't get much help, but he makes the call, and the two men turn over their hands:
