We're only a few minutes away from the start of the final table of Event 29 $3,000 No Limit Hold'em. The players are starting to arrive at the table and will be unbagging their chips shortly. Today we find ourselves on one of the outer tables as the $10,000 Limit Hold'em World Championship has been given prominence on the feature table.
Stay tuned to our live coverage of all of the action.
Looks like there will be a short delay to the start of this final table as John Phan has yet to arrive. We believe he thought it was scheduled to start at 3 p.m as he is currently playing in one of the other events. A quick phone call to John and we are told he is on his way!
In the first significant pot of the final table Tony Dunst opened with a raise to 40,000 from middle position and David Singer flat-called on the button.
The flop came and Dunst led out with a continuation bet of 55,000. Singer deliberated for a long time before sliding out 135,000 chips to announce a raise. Dunst quickly folded as Singer gets off to a good start.
Sebastian Segovia raised from middle position to 49,000. It was folded around to John Phan who made a verbal raise to around 130,000, which was enough to put Segovia all in. Before Phan could put his chips in the pot Matt Vengrin pushed a stack of 25,000 chips into the middle to reraise Phan. The raise was 363,000 more than Phan's raise. Segovia called instantly. Phan went into the tank with a smirk on his face. He looked over at Vengrin, shook his head and tapped the table before mucking his cards.

Segovia becomes our ninth-place finisher. He takes home $39,523 for his efforts.
After the hand, Segovia hung around the PokerNews booth for a couple of minutes. He said, "I pretty much had to go there. It was a good pot if I could have won it. What can I do?"
John Phan has been his usual aggressive self so far at this final table. He was able to steal the blinds of Tony Dunst, but the next hand he met some resistance against Alex Bolotin.
Phan had raised from early position and Bolotin made it an additional 100,000 to go from the big blind. Phan went into the tank and eventually found a fold, saying that he has pocket eights.
After some verbal sparring with Bolotin after the hand we overheard Bolotin comment "I had you."
"Man, I've folded pocket jacks and now pocket eights already at this table!" exclaimed Phan, as he slips to under 300,000 chips.
Johnny Neckar has been the quietest at this table so far. He just got involved for the first time when the action folded to him in the cutoff. He raised it to 45,000 and was able to collect the blinds and antes.
