Minh Nguyen Doubles Up Twice

Minh Nguyen has double up twice recently to get back up to around 10,000 in chips. First, he went all in after only looking at one card, which was clearly an ace. When the cards were shown he held {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} against {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} of his opponent. An {A-Spades} on the turn sealed the hand and allowed him to double up to 5,200.

A couple of hands later, Nguyen doubled up again. With a board showing {2-?} {9-?} {3-?} {4-?} on the turn, Nguyen went all in and was called. Nguyen showed {A-?} {5-?} for a wheel and his opponent showed {9-?} {9-?} for a set of nines. The board did not pair and Nguyen moved up to around 10,000 in chips.

Dunst Finds Ace From Space

On a flop of {Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} Tony "Bond18" Dunst and his opponent Dan Harmetz were involved in a raising war. Dunst reraised Harmetz's opening bet, before Harmetz raised it up once again. Dunst then moved all in over the top and wasn't happy when Harmetz called.

Dunst only held an ambitious {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and was in bad shape against the {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} of Harmetz. However an ace from space landed with the {A-Clubs} on the turn and {9-Clubs} on the river sending the huge pot to Dunst. He now sits with over 40,000 chips.

Levi Picks Up Some Chips

Nicolas Levi moved all in on the turn with the board showing {10-Clubs} {A-Hearts} {3-Spades} {10-Hearts}. A player in the small blind called. Levi had the player covered. Levi showed {J-Hearts} {10-Spades} for trips, while his opponent showed {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds}. The river fell a harmless {7-Clubs} eliminated Levi's opponent and moved him up to around 35,000 in chips.

Jon Little Busted

Jon Little railbirds will be sad to hear that Jon was recently eliminated from today's event. He moved all in over the top of an opening raise from Steve Dwyer and was called.

Little held {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} but ran into Dwyer's {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}. The board ran out {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Little is left heading for the exit.
