The reason for the lack of updates the last few minutes is very simple. There is nothing to update. As tends to be the case late in No Limit tournament, this tournament has come down to a slow grind. There are a lot of raise and take it pots with very few flops shown. The flops that are shown are usually bet and taken down immediately.
We still need to lose one before we are to our final table. The over-under is set at 1 1/2 levels.
Alex Zaslavsky opened with a raise from under-the-gun to 45,000 and the action folded around to Matt Vengrin in the small blind who announced a raise of 100,000.
Zaslavsky thought for a few moments and declared he was all in. Vengrin went into the tank with a huge decision, before eventually cutting down the chips and making the call.

The board ran out and Vengrin's pocket tens hold to eliminate Alex Zaslavsky in 10th place for $24,702.
With the elimination of Alex Zaslavsky, we now have our final table. Nine players, including David Singer and John Phan will return tomorrow to play for $ 434,789 and a gold bracelet. Final chip counts should be released later tonight.
All the action of the final table will start at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Join us here for all the action as we crown the champion of this $3,000 No Limit Event.
