Dunst Doubles

The action folded to Alex Zaslavsky on the button who raised it up to 36,000. Johnny Neckar folded his small blind before Tony Dunst announced he was all in from the big blind for about 100,000 more.

"You did this to me before...OK I call!" said Zaslavsky.

"Kings" replied Dunst as he tabled {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}.

Zaslavsky showed {A-Spades}{6-Spades} and would need some help.

The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Zaslavsky yelled "Yes!" thinking that he had made his straight on the river but Dunst quickly pointed out that the pot was his as he grabbed a double up to move to about 300,000 chips. Zaslavsky slips to under 400,000.

A Superstitious Final Ten

The players have just been asked to complete the ESPN bio sheet for their final table coverage. However all of the players have refused, citing that it is bad luck to fill them out before they have reached the official final table!

Vengrin Squeezes

Johnny Neckar opened with a raise from the button to 32,000 before John Phan reraised to 87,000 from the small blind. The action was then on Matt Vengrin who made the 4-bet to a total of 187,000. Neckar and Phan quickly folded as Vengrin collects a nice pot without needing to see a flop.

Vengrin is now up to 650,000 while Phan slips to 290,000.

Chip Leaders Chop

In a battle of the big stacks, Alex Zaslavsky raised it up from early position and chip leader Johnny Neckar made the call from the big blind.

The flop came {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{A-Clubs} and Neckar checked to Zaslavsky who fired out 50,000. Neckar made the call.

The turn brought the {Q-Spades} and again Neckar checked to Zaslavsky who fired another bullet worth 60,000. Necker called once more.

The river landed the {9-Diamonds} and both players slowed and checked it down. Zaslavsky showed {A-Spades}{J-Hearts} but would only get half the pot as Neckar flipped {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} for the same hand! Chop it up!

Zaslavsky Picks Up a 300,000 Pot

Tony Dunst, John Pham, Matt Vengrin and Alex Zaslavsky all limped in to see the flop. On a flop of {K-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} , Zaslavsky bet 18,000 and only Dunst made the call.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and Zaslavsky bet 50,000 and Dunst again made the call. On the river of the {2-Spades}, Zaslavsky bet out 60,000 and Dunst made one final call.

Zaslavsky turned over {5-Clubs} {5-Hearts} for a set of fives and Dunst mucked his hand. After the hand Zaslavsky is up to 575,000 chips.
