We Are in the Money!! Roberto Romanelo is Our Bubble Boy

With the elimination of Roberto Romanelo, we have made the money in this $3,000 NL Event.

Romanelo was all in preflop against Alex Zaslavsky. Romanelo held {Q-Hearts} {Q-Spades} and Zaslasky held {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs}. When the flop hit {4-Spades} {6-Spades} {A-Diamonds}, Romanelo needed running queens to win the hand. When the turn hit the {8-Clubs}, Romanelo became our bubble boy and allowed everyone else to receive a payday.

Jim Sachinidis Doubles

A short-stacked Jim Sachinidis has found a double up in a battle of the blinds. The action passed to Sachinidis in the small blind who open-shoved for his last 13,000. Dale Pinchot snap-called in the big blind with {A-Spades}{J-Hearts} and was in front of the {K-Hearts}{3-Hearts} of Sachinidis.

However the board ran out {3-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{K-Spades}{7-Spades} to give Sachinidis two pair to double up to about 26,000.

Big Slick x 3

In preflop raising war Amir Vahedi and Barny Boatman both committed all of their chips while Dustin Pattinson decided to fold holding A-K.

Vahedi flipped {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} and Boatman showed the same hand with {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} as all three players held "big slick"!

The board ran out {10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Vahedi and Boatman chop it up!

Dan Shak Eliminated

At least Beth is still in.
At least Beth is still in.
Dan Shak has been eliminated from today's event. Shak moved all in from middle position and was called by Nicholas Levi. Shak showed {K-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} and Levi shoed {A-Hearts} {6-Hearts}. Levi floped a pair of aces with the flop of {5-Diamonds} {A-Spades} {J-Diamonds}. On the turn, Shak picked up a straight draw when the {J-Spades} fell. The river fell a harmless {5-Spades} and as a result, Beth Shak is the only Shak left in today's event.

Jeff King Eliminated

Jeff King moved the last of his chips into the middle preflop with A-K but ran into the pocket rockets of Lee Childs.

The board offered King no assistance and he was eliminated from the tournament. Childs is now up to 100,000.

Sach Gets Lucky Multi-Tabling

Jim Sachinidis is currently multi-tabling between today's event and the $2,500 Six-Handed No Limit Event which just kicked off today. We are currently located at the back of the Brasilia Room, however the Six-Handed Event is spread throughout areas in the Brasilia and Amazon Rooms. Sachinidis has drawn very lucky as he finds himself only two tables away from his table in the other event, allowing him to run back and forth frequently! Something that wouldn't be possible if his other table was hundreds of yards away in the massive Amazon Room.

Julius Colman Doubles

After John Anhalt limped on the button Julius Colman moved all in from the small blind for his last 13,000 in chips. The big blind folded and Anhalt made the call.

Colman: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Anhalt: {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Colman finds a much needed double up to jump to about 28,000 in chips.
