The players at Table #15 already had to deal with Phil Ivey, Bill Edler and Noah Boeken. Just making his appearance in today's event was Doyle Brunson, who just took his chair in Seat #2.

Also buying in very late was Ted Forrest and Hoyt Corkins. And we just saw Anna Wroblewski walking around the floor with a seat card in her hand.

There's Fashionably Late, and then there's Patrik Antonius Late

OK, seriously, this is the last time we update the field by saying "So and so bought in before registration ended". Patrik Antonius is playing in today's event. And that's IT. Anyone else who shows up now is gonna have to win a huge hand to get a mention.

The last registrations posed a problem for the floor. Anna Wroblewski was walking around, trying to find her seat...but all the tables in play were filled. Rather than have her play at a table all by herself they've shoehorned her in at Table #24, where they'll play ten-handed.

Brunson Takes One Down

Bryan Devonshire had led out preflop from early position when Todd Brunson bumped the bet from the button. Devonshire called and the flop came {10-Hearts}

. Devonshire check-called the flop and saw a turn of {J-Spades}

. Devonshire check-called Brunson again and the {8-Hearts}

fell on the river. Devonshire checked, Brunson led out again, and Devonshire folded. After the hand, Brunson is up to 23,500.

You Let Her Play Here...

After squeezing in at Table #24 Anna Wroblewski just won a nice pot she played with Gabe Kaplan and Vivek Rajkumar. She raised to 800 and Kaplan and Rajkumar called. The flop came {6-Hearts}

and Rajkumar bet 400 from the big blind. Both Wroblewski and Kaplan called, and when the {7-Hearts}

fell on the turn Vivek chose to check. Anna bet 800, Gabe folded, and Vivek called. The {9-Diamonds}

hit on the river and Rajkumar check-called Wroblewski's 800 bet. She turned over {A-Clubs}

and Rajkumar tossed his cards in the muck.

One Exception

I promised I wouldn't mention any more late-arriving players for today's event. But promises (just like rules, and hearts) were made to be broken. Daniel Negreanu just took his seat. I figured people might be wondering why the winner of the $2,000 Limit Hold'em bracelet wasn't playing today, but now you know he is. You should also know that this may be a cameo appearance--Negreanu is 4th in chips in the $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha w/rebuys event, which just went out on dinner break. So Negreanu will probably be vacating his seat here in an hour to resume play there.

Scotty Nguyen has lost a couple of pots to the same player today and it's starting to irritate him a bit. Scotty bet out after a {3-Diamonds}

flop and a {7-Spades}

on the turn, but when the {4-Clubs}

hit on the river the other player led out for 800. Scotty called, to find that his {A-Diamonds}

had been run down by his opponent's {5-Diamonds}

.

"You're walkin' on water every (deleted) hand today," Scotty said as the pot was pushed the other way.

Brunson Takes Another

Todd Brunson continues to run over his opponents, this time butting heads with both Erik Cajelais and another player. Erik Cajelais led out preflop and a player from early position made it two bets. Brunson called from the small blind as did Erik.

The flop came {7-Hearts}

and both Erik and Brunson checked to the raiser, who led out. Only Brunson called to see the turn come which was the {2-Clubs}

. Brunson fired first and the early position player raised. Brunson called to see the {4-Spades}
