Corkins bet from under the gun, Witteles raised from the small blind and Corkins called. The flop came and when Witteles bet Corkins called. Witteles' had Corkins' outkicked and Witteles scooped a pot that brought his stack up to 117,000.
Mueller came back from the dinner break with just 5,000 chips and managed to survive for two rounds before Michael Mizrachi put him to the sword. Mueller was all in with to Mizrachi's and while both players made pairs on the flop the and on the turn and river spelled the end of Mueller's tournament. Mizrachi is now up to 270,000.
Thomas Wahlroos was eliminated from the remaining field when he managed to get all his chips in with pocket sevens, only to run into Spencer Lawrence holding pocket nines.
The nines held up for Lawrence and Wahlroos was eliminated just eight players shy of the money.
After being crippled in that hand with Hoyt Corkins, Lindgren raised before the flop and was called in three places. The flop came and after Lindgren bet the last of his chips he couldn't have felt too good when Zachary Hyman raised. The other players got out of the way and Lindgren saw that his was in big trouble against Hyman's set of sixes. Lindgren made trip threes on the river but that gave Hyman a full house and Lindgren was eliminated.
Brett Richey bet the last of his chips after seeing a flop, only to find that his had been outflopped by Jerrod Ankenman's . The board ran out and Richey was eliminated.
With the board showing Javier Torresola bet the last of his chips and was called by Andy Bloch. Bloch rolled over , Torresola couldn't beat that, and he was eliminated.
In Round 1, Hoyt Corkins bet from under the gun and Zachary Hyman called from the button. The flop came and when Corkins bet Hyman called. The fell on the turn and this time Hyman raised after Hoyt bet. Corkins called, but when a blank fell on the river Corkins checked then folded when Hyman bet again. Hyman then showed for the bluff and scooped the pot.
But Corkins got swift revenge. Again he opened the pot and again Hyman called from the blind. The flop came and when Hyman checked Corkins bet 4,000. Hyman check-raised to 8,000, Hoyt called, and he also called an 8,000 bet from Hyman when the turned.
The fell on the river and when Hyman again bet 8,000 Corkins raised. Hyman called saying, "Please don't tell me you have the queen..." Corkins indeed had the queen, flipping over to crack Hyman's .
After losing a big chunk of his stack when his set of tens fell to a straight on the river, Todd Witteles doubled up against Hoyt Corkins. He bet the last of his chips after a flop and Corkins called with . Witteles' held on as the turned and the spiked on the river to double Witteles' stack to 55,000.
Sung held to Wolf's , the last of Wolf's chips went in after the flop and Wolf found that Sung indeed held an ace. He's out and Sung stack is still over 300,000.
