Matusow Can't Be Bluffed

Mike Matusow raised in the cutoff position and Robert Williamson III made the call in the big blind. On a flop of {2-Spades} {J-Spades} {9-Spades} , Williamson bet and Matusow called. On the turn of the {Q-Diamonds} , Williamson bet out, Matusow raised, and Williamson folded. Williamson flashed the {A-Spades} as he mucked and Matusow showed {K-Spades} {Q-Spades}. Matusow then proceeded to tell the table at length about how that he could not be bluffed.

Brad Booth Survives

Brad Booth put the last of his chips in on the turn and sensed he was in trouble. The board read {7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} and Booth showed {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for a pair of queens and weak low against Max Pescatori's {J-Clubs}{A-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades} for top two pair and low draw.

Booth would have to dodge some cards on the river to survive and the {10-Hearts} was a relief as they chopped up the pot. Booth is on around 30,000 and will need a double up shortly to make the money.

Robert Williamson III Eliminated

I don't like staticy music
I don't like staticy music
James Van Alstyne raised in middle position and was called by both Mike Matusow and Robert Williamson III. Williamson was all in with the call. Matusow and Van Alstyne checked both the flop and the turn. On the river, with a board showing {3-Hearts} {K-Spades} {2-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} {7-Hearts}, Matusow bet and Van Alstyne called.

Matusow showed {A-Spades} {7-Spades} {2-Spades} {4-Diamonds} for the nut low and sevens up, and Van Alstyne showed {5-Spades} {4-Clubs} {2-Clubs} {Q-Spades} for the seven high straight. Williamson mucked and headed to the rail.

After the hand Matusow said, "When you checked there, it felt like sweet music. Little static though. Felt like sweet music but it was a little static."

Eugene Katchalov Triples Up

Eugene Katchalov raised from the button on the flop and was called by Erik Lindgren and Bruno Fitoussi. On the river, with the board of {6-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {6-Spades} {4-Hearts} , Katchalov moved all in and was called by both opponents. The river fell the {J-Diamonds} and Katchalov showed {4-Clubs} {5-Spades} {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}. Both opponents mucked. After the hand, Katchalov moved up to 60,000 in chips.
