Shun Uchida Eliminated in 11th Place ($38,657)

Shun Uchida - 11th Place
Shun Uchida - 11th Place
Shun Uchida raised it up from the button and David Benyamine reraised from the small blind. Ram Vaswani went into the tank from the big blind before eventually folding his hand. Uchida then reraised and Benyamine called.

The flop came {8-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Benyamine bet out, with Uchida tossing the last of his remaining chips into the middle.

Benyamine: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Uchida: {Q-Spades}{A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

The turn brought the {2-Spades} and the river {7-Spades}, and Benyamine takes the pot with kings and eights to eliminate Uchida in 11th place for $38,657 in prize money.

Clash Between Chip Leaders

David Benyamine raised preflop from under the gun and Toto Leonidas three-bet from the button. The other players folded as Benyamine made the call.

The flop came {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Spades} and Benyamine checked to Leonidas, who fired out a bet. Benyamine made the call.

The turn was the {Q-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The river was the {3-Diamonds} and again both players checked.

Benyamine showed {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for kings and queens, which was apparently good, as Leonidas mucked his hand.

Announcement on Balancing of Tables

At present we are at 11 players. Six players are on one table and five are on the other. In the interest of fairness, the floor staff has announced that if we haven't lost a player in 20 minutes that they will move the big blind to the short handed table. This will continue every 20 minutes until we lose a player.

Chances are, with three stacks having five big bets or less, this will not occur more than once or twice.

Chau Giang Eliminated in 12th Place ($38,657)

Chau Giang - 12th Place
Chau Giang - 12th Place
Chau Giang has taken a series of tough beats, chops and quarters today, as things just haven't run his way.

He found himself down to his last 70,000 and had committed them all in on the turn in a hand against Toto Leonidas.

The board read {Q-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Spades} as Giang showed {2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} for a flush and low draw. However, Leonidas held {7-Spades}{8-Spades}{A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} for a better flush.

The river was the {J-Spades} and Giang heads to the payout booth in 12th place for a collect of $38,657.
