Players at the six tables surrounding the H.O.R.S.E event have now all been broken and moved to new areas. At the moment, it is a bit of a zoo in the Amazon room, however, the tournament staff is doing all they can to get things situated as best as possible.

Shortly after being dropped down to just 225 in chips, Phil Hellmuth managed to double up and double up again. In fact, he was up to 1,400 just four hands after being short-stacked.

However, Phil has had a hard time winning races today. He claims to have dodged the pocket aces earlier, then got shorted against pocket queens. His elimination came after going all in against a player while holding A-K. His opponent held pocket eights, which held up, and Phil was eliminated.

Chris "Jesus" Ferguson moved all in from middle position preflop and was called by the small blind. Ferguson turned over A-9 while his opponent showed Q-J. The board fell {9-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} to give his opponent Broadway on the turn, eliminating Ferguson from the field.

After the hand, Ferguson announced, "Every time I'm down to 650, I go all in. That's my rule."

We started the event today with over 2,700 players and after just four levels, we're already under 1,200. That's 1,500 players in four hours, or, on average, 375 players per hour. We still have six more levels of play to go tonight, and at this rate, we could be down to a final table of nine, though highly unlikely.

Disappearing Table?

With the tournament spread out in so many places today, as well as the H.O.R.S.E event taking place, table-breaking and rearranging has been confusing. To say the least. Most recently, the tournament floor staff broke table Orange #14, which rests directly in the center of the Orange section. After asking why they broke the table, we were told it was to make room for one of the few remaining tables outside of the Amazon room.

However, that was 20 minutes ago and Orange #14 still sits empty. We're not sure what happened to the players who were supposed to be relocated there, nor do we know why it has yet to be filled by other players, as eliminations continue.

Currently, Orange #14 sits empty, surrounded by a sea of poker players.

Nikolay Evdakov moved all in preflop against an opponent who had raised preflop. Nikolay had his opponent covered and held pocket queens. His opponent showed pocket tens, which crushed the queens after flopping a set. Nikolay couldn't improve and is down to just 1,800 after.

Shannon Shorr Eliminated

Shannon Shorr moved all in preflop after his opponent raised. His opponent called, showed pocket jacks and Shorr showed A-7. Shorr found no help by the river and was eliminated.
