Michael Banducci Eliminates Phi Nguyen

Jeff Williams raised to 85,000 and Phi Nguyen reraised to 117,000. Michael Banducci doubled Nguyen's raise and Williams looked back at his hand, then folded with a wry smile. Nguyen said "call" and started to turn over his hand, but Williams stopped him, saying that the raise hadn't been enough to set Nguyen all in.

So we saw a flop of {8-Diamonds}

and Nguyen committed his last 85,000. Banducci made the call with {Q-Hearts}

which led Nguyen's Ace-King. The {J-Diamonds}

hit on the turn, eliciting a laugh from Williams who said he folded Jacks. The {5-Hearts}

on the river spelled the end for Nguyen, who finishes in 10th place.

The remaining ten players have just moved to the same table and Michael Binger, the shortest remaining stack, drew the button. "Hot damn!" he said, jumping out of his seat to celebrate the fact that he has a few extra hands before the blinds come his way.
