Sabel Crippled

Craig Sabel opened with a raise from the hijack position and both Spencer Lawrence and Chris Falconer made the call.

The flop came {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and it was checked around.

The turn landed the {A-Spades} and Falconer checked from the small blind over to Sabel who fired a bet of 60,000. Lawrence deliberated from the cutoff before making the call as Falconer tossed his cards.

The river brought the {3-Spades} and Sabel made a quick check as Lawrence again slowly considered his move. He decided to fire another bet, and Sabel made the call.

Lawrence showed {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for two pair, aces and jacks, as Sabel revealed {A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a smaller two pair.

This pot left Sabel in bad shape with barely enough left to cover the blinds while Lawrence moves to around 650,000 to be close to our current chip leader.
