Matt Keikoan has the button in seat 1. Mihai Manole raises to 45,000 from early position. Keikoan calls from the button and Theo Tran quickly tosses it in from the small blind. Shannon Shorr isn't as quick to react, he ponders the situation for quite a while before eventually reraising all in for 194,000. Manole calls and the players show:

Shorr: {K-Clubs}

Manole:

The board comes out {K-Hearts}

and Shorr wins a much-needed pot, doubling up to about 420,000. Manole has fallen back slightly under 1 million.

Theo Tran has the button in seat 2. J.C. Tran raises to 40,000 from late position. Shannon Shorr reraises to 143,000 from the small blind. Carter Gill folds from the big blind and action is back to Tran. He stares down at his chips, slowly shuffling them for a good 45 seconds before finally moving all in for a total of 222,000. Shorr is pot-committed, and he insta-calls. The players show:

helping neither player. The turn comes the {2-Spades}
