Hand #26 - Carter Gill

Mihai Manole has the button in seat 5. Carter Gill calls from cutoff seat and Chris Bjorin completes from the small blind. J.C. Tran checks his big blind option. The flop comes {4-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {A-Hearts}. Tran and Bjorin both check and Gill bets 46,000. Bjorin and Tran fold and Gill wins the pot.

Hand #28 - Theo Tran

J.C. Tran has the button in seat 8. Shannon Shorr raises to 43,000 from under the gun. Theo Tran calls from the big blind and they take a {K-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} flop heads up. Both players check and the {9-Spades} comes off on the turn. Again both players check. The {K-Hearts} hits the river and Tran checks no more. He tosses out 100,000 chips. Shorr studies the situation, and eventually calls. Tran shows {K-Spades} {8-Spades}, Shorr mucks and Tran wins the pot.

Hand #29 - Shannon Shorr

Matt Keikoan has the button in seat 1. Mihai Manole raises to 45,000 from early position. Keikoan calls from the button and Theo Tran quickly tosses it in from the small blind. Shannon Shorr isn't as quick to react, he ponders the situation for quite a while before eventually reraising all in for 194,000. Manole calls and the players show:

Shorr: {K-Clubs} {K-Diamonds}
Manole: {7-Clubs} {7-Spades}

The board comes out {K-Hearts} {9-Spades} {4-Spades} {10-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} and Shorr wins a much-needed pot, doubling up to about 420,000. Manole has fallen back slightly under 1 million.

Hand #30 - J.C. Tran

Theo Tran has the button in seat 2. J.C. Tran raises to 40,000 from late position. Shannon Shorr reraises to 143,000 from the small blind. Carter Gill folds from the big blind and action is back to Tran. He stares down at his chips, slowly shuffling them for a good 45 seconds before finally moving all in for a total of 222,000. Shorr is pot-committed, and he insta-calls. The players show:

Shorr: {6-Spades} {5-Clubs}
Tran: {K-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}

The flop comes {9-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {9-Spades} helping neither player. The turn comes the {2-Spades} giving Shorr an inside straight draw in addition to his live cards. The river is the {Q-Hearts} hitting Tran squarely and doubling him up to 474,000.
